This product now includes our updated Laser Engraved Flex Nameplate.

We’ve updated the nameplate style used on this product to a modern laser engraved flex plate.

These new plates maintain a very similar appearance to the previous engraved plates, while adding several important benefits:

• More durable and resistant to bending
• Full coverage 3M^® adhesive backing
• Lower replacement cost if new plates are ever needed
• Cleaner and more consistent engraving results

Why did we make this change?

We recently invested in new industrial laser engraving equipment that allows us to produce nameplates faster and more consistently.

This helps reduce production time and rising labor costs while still maintaining the high quality standards our customers expect.

4 oz. Oxidation Solution for Aluminum and Brass

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

• NOTE - can only be shipped by Ground in the Continental US
• Used to Blacken etch engraved Aluminum or Brass
• Use a cotton swab to apply to engraving area
• Can use lighter fluid (like Zippo or Rosonol) to clean excess
• Does evaporate. Keep tightly closed. Extended shelf life
• Does not work on laser engraving and does not work on brass plated steel
• Works best on brass rotary engraving or burnishing
• Made in USA

I have a board with over 100 brass plates from various suppliers over the last 20 years. So far, I have tested this product on one of the plates and it seemed to be what I wanted to accomplish by blackening the engraving.
